After moving to North Norfolk in the mid 1980s (as a partner in another firm of accountants), Tim founded the business, with his wife Anne, in 1992. Ever since then the practice has provided a warm friendly environment whilst giving sound and accurate accountancy and taxation advice. Over the years the company has grown steadily and the services offered have evolved and developed to keep up with changes in legislation, and technology.

Throughout the years both of Tim’s children, Emma and David, have also joined the business making it a real family affair. Emma went straight into accountancy from school, gaining the ACCA qualification and a wide range of accounting experience, before joining the firm in 2006. David took another route, completing a Maths degree, before joining the firm in 2010. He has since gained the AAT qualification. In February 2022 Tim decided to step back and leave the running of the firm to Emma and David to enjoy his retirement. In the office there are a further five members of staff, three full time and two part time.

Being a small office, we pride ourselves on our personal service and aim to keep this a key part of the business going forward. We feel, and hope, that our clients find it a pleasant experience coming into the office, rather than a daunting one. With everyone in the practice being familiar with the majority of clients, there is always someone on hand to help when advice is needed. The most common compliment that we receive from our clients is that we explain complex matters in an ‘easy to understand’ manner.
